ESG as an integral part of our company
MÄHREN AG’s ESG strategy encompasses all activities in the areas of real estate investment and management. These relate primarily to environmental, social and governance aspects. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) guidelines are particularly important for MÄHREN AG as a company. The parameters of corporate governance, economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, social sustainability and corporate citizenship are key aspects of the strategy and represent important success factors for future competitiveness in the real estate sector.

- We are gradually converting our vehicle fleet to hybrid and electric models. So far, we have converted 13 out of 30 vehicles. A further 10 vehicles are planned for 2023.
- We are the private sector owner with the largest own forest stand in Berlin. The area achieves CO2 storage of around 15,000 tons per year. The purchase of further forest areas is planned.
- We use environmentally conscious software solutions.

Jakob Mähren Foundation
Jakob Mähren is known far beyond the borders of Berlin as a company founder, CEO and real estate investor. He also established the Jakob Mähren Foundation in 2015 and supports selected social projects with the organization. Born in Berlin, he has already been involved in social projects in the past, both professionally and privately.
